Dan ...

in an odd way, I agree with you ... go Rockets

(and take the rest of the NBA with you)

I don't much care for the NBA ... too much "watch ME" and too much street ball and not enough team action ... lots of two on two or three on three action, but few whole-team efforts. Which IS a shame, because there is a lot of talent being wasted ... I'll stick with college ball and be happier for it ...

I follow it a little bit not as much as I use too, I really don't have favorite team. I'm more into College ball, love the tradions and rivalry's.

GO HEELS!

Kings, baby. I grew up with one of their players, so I love to see him, and them do well.

Steve, many of the W's in the WNBA can probably be classified as M's :)

As could a significant portion of the audience they draw ... going to one of their games seems even more risky a proposition than dressing in a Denver Bronco jersey and going to sit in the "Black Hole" at the Oakland Colliseum to watch a Broncos/Raiders game ...

Go Cav's (all the way to the sh*t hole)!

Here's to getting the #1 pick in the draft and getting hometown sensation LeBron James!

CJ, there's something I don't understand about the Cavs and maybe you can help me out on this ... why did they trade Andre Miller to the Clips ?? ...

I know who they got in exchange, but don't see how that helped the team or even how it could potentially do so ... had they not made the trade and finished at the bottom, they'd have that #1 pick and could'a put Andre and LeBron James together ...

Now would that have been excitement waiting to happen or what?

all i have to say about the Cavs is with a average age of 23 they are not going to help them selfs with the "high school wonder" I think they need some good ole VETs to get in there and show them how to play ball not ugly street ball.

Steve,

I really liked Andre and while he was at Utah and I thought he would be a perfect fit and he was.
I believe his contract was coming up next year and the Cavs wanted to get a little "flashier".
Thats where Ricky Davis comes in. This kid has alot of talent and if he was playing in NY, Sports Illustrated would have run a whole issue on him.
DeJaun Wagner drafted out of Memphis this year is only 19 I believe and is showing that he could be the real deal. He's averaging 22 pts a game after missing half of training camp and the first 14 games with some kind of infection.
Now throw Lebron in the mix (fingers crossed), and if this kid is 1/10th of what the scouts think he's going to be the Cavs may be back and competing in a couple of years.
Let's not forget Darius Miles (another kid) averaging 12 pts and 7 boards...
The Cavs have been really miserable since Price/Nance/Daugherty/Lenny left town.

Mavs and Mark Cuban are the bomb. They will end their 23 game losing streak in LA tomorrow night.
