This is Gus, waiting for me to select a cigar from my humidor!

He is thinking, "hurry up so I can run around while you smoke the damn thing"!

He is a Vizsla, sometimes called a Hungarian Pointer, they are considered the National dog of Hungary and were bred by Magyar tribesmen in the 10th century for hunting dogs. They do not shed very much and will run forever!

In January edition of Dog Fancy on page 54 the breed is profiled; however, they show some without having their tails cropped! The tail is cropped for show dogs and in most cases for looks in general!

go to http://clubs.akc.org/vizsla/index.html for further information!

Great dogs!

The one in the back is Forrest, and he is a runner like Gus, but likes to sleep more than Gus...........caught him napping!
