CAO tasting in Brea, California 12/5

Went to the CAO web site (per Jon's posting) and was delighted to see that there will be a CAO cigar tasting (including the Extreme), with free cigars, and door prizes, on Dec. 5 at S & H Tobacco in Brea. Rick, that's practically next door to you and me. Anyone on the board planning on going??

justfor fun.I haven't called yet.Can you post more details? I should be able to make it and afterwards I might suggest "Taps" for an after Herf,Taps is a block or so South of S+H on the corner of Imperial hwy and Brea Blvd. Here's a link to a map to S+H I hope it's OK cause they don't really have a website and just being in California could never even come close to being a C-bid competitor.

OK,I just got off the phone with S & H Tobacco and the CAO cigar tatsing starts at about 7:00 PM,Thur,Dec 5th.

Looks good for me.LMK if anybody wants to meet up earlier at Taps for a Brew,Maybe 6:00? Or we can always stop in after.Taps is cigar friendly on the patio,I probably go there at least once a month or better.

Sounds like fun. I live up in the San Gabriel Valley, but that's not too much of a stretch. I do have the kid with me that night, so this might complicate things a bit. I'll do my best. It would be nice to meet some of you So Cal folks and swap a few fishing stories.

JJohnson: What is that they say about the best made plans? I was not able to make it. My apologies. I ended up having to be in dowtown L.A. for a 4:30 pm meeting which lasted 3 hours. That put me in traffic for another 1.5 hours. So I just blew off the event. Too tired, hungry, grumpy, and po'by the time I hit the OC borderline. Hope it was fun and you got a few gars out of it?
