I am a relatively new cigar smoker. I spend 4-6 hours a day in my car. Unfortunately, this is 15-20 minutes at a time. I'm looking for a good smoke that doesn't take an hour to enjoy. Are any of the small cigars worth smoking??? Any help would be appreciated.

I agree with the Indian Tabac suggestion.

Try the Hoya de Nicaragua Consul Maduro; it's available on CBid. I think they be good.

If you have the cash my absolute favorite short smoke is the Fuente Hemingway Short Story. If thats too pricy for you all of the others mentioned here are quite good. I'd also throw in the Padron Londres. Less than $2. Longer cigar but small ring gauge so it smokes in about 30 minutes.

For something a little different, Drew Estate's Natural Juicy Lucy is actually a pretty nice, quick smoke.

I get little breaks at work to smoke, usually 15-20 minutes like you.

I like to get the little Macanudo and Macanudo Maduro tins (10 little smokes per tin). I have really taken to the CAO Petit Maduros. Those have a big cigar taste in a little 15 minute smoke.

All of them I bought on this site for about $5-$7 less than retail with shipping.

Try the Don Lino Coffe Break. It's 4 x 44 and IMO a great smoke when time is short.

Partagas Black Pronto Tins, great little smokes with tons of flavor. Better then the bigger sizes even. Made with all long-filler which many of the other smaller cigars arent.

get any 5 x 50 that you like. blow through it when you have to stop smoking.

when you are ready to start again, cut off the end and relight.

you are not really enjoying the cigar very much when you are in and out of the car, so any fairly decent cigar will work.

when you get home, throw the butt in a gallon jar almost full of water and sit down with a beer, drink, or what ever and enjoy a good cigar.

when the gallon jar (empty milk bottle) has a half dozen cigars and turns an ugly brown, use it as a bug killer around plants or put in in a sprayer and spray the leaves of anything that has bugs on them.

Rick: does that stuff help deter Deer from Plants and trees. It would make my wife happy, and save me some money (for more cigars).

it would not hurt to try. poor a gallon around one of their plants and see what happens. it won't hurt the plant and in a day or so you won't smell it but the deer with his nose to the ground will. let me know how it works out.

i live right near la and i haven't seen a deer in a long time.

The little Cohibas are not bad, but if you want a cigar you want a cigar, right???

Try the AF Short Story or the Griffins Fuerte Short Corona, my favorite short smoke is the SS which IMO is second only to a Partagas Short...and a close second at that.

If you like maduros, the C.A.O. Petite Maduros are tough to beat.
