as you sit in the lazyboy or whatever chair that fits your ass, and smoke a cigar, how many remotes do you need to control your "entertainment" center, or whatever you call the old cabinet that has the tv, lazer disk player, 8 track stereo, etc?

Four
One for the DVD player.
One for the TiVo.
One for the projector.
One for the overhead lights.
Of course, being a projection system and all, most of these devices are on the rack right next to me. However, they all require remotes to operate.

Two...
Jillian can you change that to 33 please...
Jordan can you turn that volume down a bit...
Most of the time, I don't watch TV, but when I do, I get up to change the channel and volume because I can never find the remote...take that back...I did find it in the back yard last Spring when I was cutting the grass...there it was right in the grass catcher all phukked up and in pieces...

Rick, all my life I've heard that it's always darkest before the dawn, but I have no idea whether that means during the last hour before dawn or ?? ...
Perhaps you could take a light meter outside at various times during the night (if you happen to be aware that it IS night) and do some pseudo-scientific study on the subject, then let us know the results ...

Steve, Rick would only have to take the light meter out once,,,
After that, he would use the remote.
