Can I get any feedback on the torano exodus 1959's. Are they really as good as the ratings.

Not sure what they have been "rated" but I have a box of the robusto and like them a lot. Good construction and a good smoke. In my regular rotation.

The 1959 torpedo is as pretty a cigar as you ever did see, and smokes good, too. Cliffie should give a report on one soon.

I have NO idea what the ratings are ... I pay ZERO attention to them. I can, however, tell you that IMNSHO, this is a very good full-bodied cigar ... I had one just this past Sunday evening and loved every fraction of an inch.

I like em, but I would classify them (IMHO of course) as a medium bodied cigar..I tend to lean toward fuller bodied cigars, so I traded the ten I had left (and the box) to a great member of another board...He sent me about fifteen fuller bodied cigars that are all my favorites! :P
They have a fairly complex flavor to them!...The wrapper is unbelievably smooth and "milk chocolately" looking (???)

"Milk-chocolately", I'm not sure, but the one I smoked last night (THANKS, LT!) was definitely good. I actually prefer the Signature Series, though (thanks again, LT!), but I've heard quite a few say they prefer the Exodus 1959's. If you like 'em, you ought to check out the new Exodus Silver. I don't know much about them, but I think they're supposed to be more full-bodied than the 1959's.

Hmmm. I'm sitting here smoking my first '59 right now, and I'm not sure what to think yet. It seemed spicey at first, but right now seems kind of flat.

How does this trade thing work? I may want to trade the other 4 away for some maduros.

All of the Toranos are pretty good. The 1959 is the fullest body, the silver is lighter, and the signature is similar to an AF Chateau Fuente SG.

Funny how tastes differ. If I didn't like the 1959's better than the Sigs, Cliffie would never have ended up with my Sigs in trade. CA loves 'em, Cliffie loves 'em, almost everybody loves 'em, and I tried to but just don't. Vivre la differénce!

Got the 59s in my regular rotation; nice medium to full body; good burn and flavor.
