Yesterday I got a package from Bucanero cigars which included a Christmas card, gold coin (plastic not real), some matches, and three cigars in a humi pouch. I've never even heard of these let alone signed up on any mailing list.

Anyone get a similar package or know how I got mine?

No, but I got a Christmas Package of Lone Wolf's and a crying towel to go with them..........hehehe!

How in the Hell did you get that package? I have never smoked one and have tried to find them! Great deal indeed!

Glad we got that settled Steve. Send me your address and I'll be happy to send you your gold coin. Did I say I got more then just the coin? I meant to say I got JUST a coin.

I called the 888 number and it sounds like FBCoachO sent in my name along with a number names. The president, being in a generous mood, sent a sampler out to everyone on his list.

THANKS FBCOACHO!

Robert (the president) is a top-notch guy, and his cigars are must-haves. It's good to see someone in the business with his passion and generosity.

That is like someone visiting San Francisco and buying one of the corny tee shirts with a legend like........."I was in San Francisco and all I got was the Crabs"!

I did get a thank you Christmas Card from a competitor of CI/CB.

i got the "Ambasador" package from Bucanero. I talked with robert for a while. Nice guy. I like their ethos about trying to support the mom and pop cigar shops. And even though i do most of my shopping on the net ( and of course at CigarBid), i wouldn't want to see these shops disappear. And here in Washington state they will soon due to the high tobacco tax. Anyway, a few days after i talked with robert, his brother Johnny called. Real nice guy. Talked with him about a half an hour. this is like the longest i have talked on a phone in 2 years. He sent me a different little package with some maduro's. I haven't taken the time to try them yet. Soon.... the bucanero are supposed to be pretty good. good reviews at, CA, Top25 Cigars, Smoke Magazine, so i hope my review (soon) will be a good one to

All I'll say is you'll not be walkin' any plank with a Bucanero! Avast ye Mateys! There be strong flavor a blowing when enjoying a Full Sail.

Top notch cigars by a couple of top notch gentlemen! If they ever need a son or anything, I'm completely available. The good thing is that if they pick me then they also get instant grandkids too!

Yes it's true that I did send to Robert a few names to recieve a sample of Buccanero. I am an Ambassidor and damn proud of it. I have had the pleasure of speaking to both Robert and Johnny and these two gentlemen are true to their words. I'm sorry that I couldn't gifted you all a taste of Buccanero, but if and when you do see them...grab them. For those lucky enough to get a present(name another owner of a cigar line who hand writes holiday cards or speaks to you directly when you call their office) enjoy.
HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!!!!

I did a little research. Wow! These smokes are very exclusive. I know they are going to be too damn expensive in TN. I have to pay more for a PAM here than I ever have for an ISOM. How are the tobacco taxes in Virginia?

Just called Bucanero today to see if I might pitch their cigars to a couple of shops in Kansas City and Wichita...

Johnny called me right back and Robert emailed to welcome me to the ambassador program, and offer me a Christmas smoke.

What great personal service!
