Greeting all. If any of you have ever smoked a macanudo vintage 1993, 1988, or 1984, then you know how good they are. However, the 1979 vintage is truly awesome and a great keepsake for the collecters out there. They are really hard to find these days, but they are out there...I have found 2-3 stores that have a box or two for sale. I myself cannot afford to purchase an $585.00 box of #1's. What I am proposing is that a group of us go in together on a purchase. There are 20 sticks (I think) to a box, I only want one or two. I would be willing to organize the deal, but I am sure that there are a couple more well-known "forum folks" that would seem more trustworthy since this is my first post. Thanks in advance.

I've tried the 93 Vintage and found it to be one of the worst cigars I've tried...However, I would be interested in getting a 79' but I really don't want to shell out (lets see....be patient...My math is a little "fuzzy" :) $29 bucks for one stick...Thats a little expensive for my tastes......Keith
