This is a companion post to the "Do you inhale" thread. Sometimes I find myself holding a mouthful of the delicious smoke until I begin to lose consciousness. The multicolored images and hallucinations that ensue are usually pleasant but sometimes it has quite the opposite effect. On rare occasions I've lost control of my motor skills and fallen down. To prevent injuries, I only smoke while seated. Has anyone else had similar experiences?

Usually smoking a medium to full bodied cigar. I also noticed it happens more frequently when I'm enjoying a couple cold ones with my smoke. could be a connection! I'll have to investigate.

Ah yes, to hol din the smoke, run into a wall and knock yourself out. One of my favorite pasttimes.

I don't know the optimum timeframe to hold it in, but...I seem to exhale fairly soon.

Maybe I should take it more slowly?
