is anyone else watching "taken" on the sci fi channel?

if so your opinion about the show itself and/or the subject matter.

I am not watching, but I have a couple of friends who are going nuts over the damn thing! They think it is great!

This is not my opinion since I am not watching the show!

I've caught at least half of the episodes so far, and all in all, I'm fairly impressed by the series. While the basic storyline loses a bit of its mystery as more is revealed, I think the overall production is pretty high quality. A few really good special effects and some good moments of suspense. The various directors have done a good job, and the episodes seem to string together rather seamlessly. My only thought is that the whole production might have been more effective if it were shorter; there's a certain amount of material that could be excised without losing much and would tighten the flow of the story.

all the episodes repeat starting dec 14th 11:00am, i don't know what time zone and the entire 20 hours will play that day and night. it is still shorter thaen watching 24 on 3 or 4 dvd's. both are great. i look forward to the dvds of season 2 of 24. it never had a moment's dull.

hard to imagine a 20 hour movie. i suggest you print the family tree that's available on the web. you can't tell the players without a program.
