What tune you playing Barry? I imagine playing guitar and smoking is very relaxing. I usually listen to music when smoking....they seem to go together. Whenever I think of blues or jazz, a smokey bar comes to mind. Great pic!

Bud,

a guitar and Full Sail could only mean Jimmy Buffet.

BMW --- go to the Bucanero website, and click on Bucanero Bud's ...

... then click on the 'mailbox' and send in your picture as an attachment.

They will post it! Make sure you tell them in the email which cigar you are smoking ...

... that's a great 'Bucanero Moment', bro!

bud,
playing some close your eyes and feel it blues.

slim,
I was heading that way with the photo. I tried to get one when the ash was about 1 1/2" long but right before the photo my dog came in and bumped my elbow and knocked it off. Damn!

"Mary had a Little Lamb" is about the only SRV song I can play. His talent was beyond my wildest dreams.

Yup, it's a Full Sail, can't help but enjoy it. I think I feel a Peg Leg in today's line up.

I've only tried one Pegleg, but I found it not to be as full flavored as the FS,JMO. How do you compare the two,Barry? X

Can I answer that? Just in case he's out fishin ' ... LOL!

The 'Peg Legs' are classified as a medium to full-bodied cigar, and are more closely in blend to the 'el Capitan Reserva Maduro' ...

The Reserva Maduro is a blend of fine Dominican and Spicy Nicaraguan 'Ligero' filler, Nicaraguan binder and a Costa Rica Maduro wrapper. They are aged 3 years.

The Peg Leg has the Costa Rica Maduro wrapper, with the Dominican and Nicaragua (not sure if it's ligero) filler ... but, it has a Dominican binder (instead of Nicaraguan). They are aged 3 years ...

The 'Full Sail' is definately full-bodied
smoke, made with a Costa Rican Maduro wrapper, and fine Dominican filler and binder ... and has been aged for three years. Much stronger IMHO ...

FYI - the Windjammer (gold ring) and Maduro (Red band) are aged 5 years ...

I hope this helped ...

... of course, I can't answer for Barry's tastes, but I thought knowing the blends would give you a little more to go on.

If you are talking about the Clasico Maduro 'red ring', yes ... and they are very good.

If you are talking about the Windjammer el Natural (gold ring), yes too ... very mild, butr has a wonderful spicy flavor. My new favorite morning cigar ...

Note: I believe this is the one John told me (Churchill size) is his daily cigar ...

Thanks Slim, I was busy stuffing my face with nachos.

I agree, the Full Sail is fuller bodied compared to the Peg Leg. I find the Peg Leg a little lighter on the palate but none the less rich in flavor. The complex flavors in the Peg Leg grow and change throughout the length of that little fire plug while the Full Sail seems to be a steady rich ejoyable smoke.
I've gto a nice 1 1/2" ash on a Peg Leg now!

eleltea --- see if they carry the el Capitan Reserva Maduro, and grab a couple of those if they got them.

... I honestly think they are better than the 'Full Sail', and I have smoked several of each one.
