Just curious if anyone out there is familiar with the Dayton, Ohio area? I’m new to the area from Southern California, and I was hoping to find some great places to smoke cigars, socialize, and smoke cigars. Like cigar bars, or cigar friendly restaurants, etc.

I’ve looked around a bit already, and no luck.

Thnx-Joel

I live in Dayton and about 10 minutes from the Wharf. You will not find a better group of guys than at the Wharf and the selection of cigars is the best in the state. By the way, welcome to Ohio. The weather may not be as good as Southern Cal, but the cost of living is better. By the way their website is www.thewharf.com

There is a bar/restaurant up in Centerville called the Fox and the Hound. English pub type atmtosphere. Great place to watch a football game and smoke a cigar. It's been a while since I've been there, but the last time I was there, they even had a decent selection of cigars.

Cayman2b, yeah the military says move, and you gotta. The weather isn't as nice, but I really like the area, and small town atmosphere.

Wolverine, I've noticed the same thing about the Wharf. In SoCal there are some big shops, but I've got to say that the Wharf has a real decent selection, and the people there are very nice guys. The only downside to the Wharf is how they don't let you handle the cigars. IMHO that is an important part of selecting the right smoke. But I can't complain, it is an awesome establishment. Next time I'm in there look me up, if you're there, I'm a tall thin dude, that often drags his wife and kids through the door. As far as the Fox and Hound, is it the chain Pool hall? I've been to Fox and Hound before in Montgomery, AL. and they are nice places.

Well enough rambling gents, I need to get ready for work...BTW my cigar of choice this morning will be an 'O' Maduro, with a strong cup of coffee.

Have a great day-Joel
