I bought some acids a while back and I'm now getting around to finishing them. I had a humi all set up just for them. Now that they are gone I plan to be acid free for a while and would like to begin using the humi for other smokes. Any ideas on how to get the smell out of the dor? Thanks in advance.

Burn some old hair in it or let the cat pee in it, that should do it. LOL

Barry, it's already had grandma's hair in it. Axle grease or ham hock.

I like the advice about the wife's car and cigar smoking posted way back when...

...just add a few potatoes and check back in a few weeks...the acid smell will hardly be noticeable!

Slice up a couple of apples and put them in the humi for a couple of days. Check it and if it still stinks do it again. It should work the first time though.

Sounds like a job for a tupperdore. That way you can toss it when you're done.

That's the best idea I've heard yet.
