Ahhhhhh......I grew up in Thibodaux, LA. (no 'e' in this spelling), and the kitchen is, to many, the man's room. It's a "Don Da' Baya" thing. I do all the special event cooking (I even prepared the wifes bridesmade luncheon!). She handles the day to day venue (she can do both though ;)).

My afternoon mountain begins on Monday and lasts through Tuesday evening.

You two cajuns should enjoy some good Jambalaya and Crab Gumbo during the holidays!!!! My mother's side of the family were from the swamp state, home of the best damn food in the world!!!
