bought a box of maria mancini's (thanks cbid!). still have the plastic wrap on the box and i have that in a ziploc because i ran out of room in the humi (thanks cbid). though the sticks are air-tight, should i still be worried? would temperature change damage them? men's room temp varies a little because i don't have a central air vent back here. any thoughts?

temperature, whether too hot or too cold, WILL harm them ... small variations shouldn't matter too much, but I'd be worried if the variation was a great one ... and while where you live, the ambient humidity is more favorable than a lot of places, remember that your furnace will remove a lot of humidity from the air in the house ... best idea, IMNSHO, is to put a tupperwareador together ... cheap solution and you're gonna be needing it anyway ...

I agree with Steve, especially if you see this becoming a regular occurance....you may want to investigate the possibility of a coolerdor.....that's my bad influence talkin'.

But the weather we're having ain't bad (69 degrees and 80% hum.), but it may be soon.

Bayou, where are you?

I too am in BR....huh. I was frequenting Havana House until I found CB, but I like JJ and really need to, at the very least, sample something every now and then that I may pursue here.
Hope you didn't get flooded last night!

Merry (and dry) X-mas!

what steve and sonny said. they will stay okay for a week or two but you oughta look into some additional storage.
