In another thread, I proposed a "remote herf" on Christmas Eve ... If you saw that, my apologies for being redundant, but if not, please consider "joining" a "remote herf" on Christmas Eve, Tuesday, December 24 at 9pm EST (6pm PST) ... my suggestion is for each of us to light one of our favorite cigars at that time and to raise our cigars in a "toast" to one another in recognition of the very special nature of our group, for a very happy holiday and best wishes for a happy and prosperous new year ahead for each of us.

I hope to "See" you there ....

I'd like to, but I think I'll be at the outlaws still, a no smoking venue. If I'm lucky enough to be home early, I'll join in for sure.

Guys and Gals,

Owing to a family gathering that will start shortly after herf time, my attendance will be a bit late. However, I plan to sit out late tonight with a nice smoke after family time and will "join" you later in the festivities.

By the bye, merry Christmas and happy holidays to all.

It might be that cold here too, JJ ... we're in for a few days of rain, so the cloud cover is holding the temps up a bit ... otherwise, it'd probably be into high 40s by now ... I know it drove me inside too ...

Well, the ISOM is nubbed, my policeman son has gone to work, the others have gone home ... there are some advantages to having your kids reach adult age and move out on their own .. I'm going to pay some attention to MrsS now ... with any luck, she'll pay some attention back ... y'all have a merry one ... g'nite

Hey Guys! I went out with my wife to deliver some gifts. My wife & I have taken gift packages to the local homeless shelter.
We give them Sweatshirts, jackets, pants, socks, and some personal hygiene items. Every year its a little different. Depends on what we can get donated from friends. My wife gift wraps all the stuff so they can open them up and be surprised! Man, this year it was special, brought a tear to my eyes. We brought enough for 25 guys. It was enough for everyone there.
You would have to see the look on these guys faces when they get Christmas gifts from strangers. They gave my wife & I a big applause. It was pretty cool. Its our 5th year doing this. It really makes Christmas Special.
Just wanted to share a Christmas Moment with you guys!

Mag

PS: Now to another Smoke!

I just got home from a sit and talk about work Christmas party. I think it would only have been more fun if somebody ran a sharp stick in my eye. I am about to light ans AF 8-5-8 I have a couple left from a few boxes I bought two years ago and have been letting these sleep.

Hey all! Got done with my smoke about 45 mins ago. I started a little late due to catching up with a good friend. But anyway, sitting outside on our deck in the snow (on it's way to 1-2 feet) smoking my Fuente natural 8-5-8, I realized how much I love this hobby/addiction/etc. Even though it is 30 degrees, wet from snow and whatever else, the cigar was still wonderful! You all have a wonderful Christmas and pull out the good smokes tomorrow! My pick is a Partagas 150 "AA". HSA!

I enjoyed a Camacho Corojo 11/18 last night while reading a strange novel called THE MINOTAUR TAKES A CIGARETTE BREAK. I blew some smoke into the wind's four quarters in honor of my c-bid colleagues.

I hope you all have a wonderful day and that the coming year will be kind to you. I hope to get to know some of you better.

In my finest iconoclastic tradition, I'm off to see "The Lord Of The Rings" today. After that, I plan to enjoy a PAN Corona Gorda, a HdM Seleccion royale Senador, and an Ashton VSG Illusion.

BAH, HUMBUG!!!

I went to the Local Tender Box and purchaced an Opus X for my Christmas Celebration. Signed it from Santa and gave it to myself. I'm pretty much a newbie cigar smoker, and Opus X is very full Bodied. It was darn cold outside with the snow piled around my deck, but it was very enjoyable.
