we've probably met there before. ok, here goes my anonymity: i'm one of the two stockbroker guys. Troy is my business partner. i'm 38 yrs old, have dark hair, medium build and look kinda like, well, a stockbroker.

I wasn't at the grand opening. she didn't send me an invite, so i didn't know about it. Troy and I poked our head in there right after she opened, a month or so ago. we had a smoke in the back room. gave her a business card and she said we'd get an invite. maybe we pissed her off?!? lol

Okay, I'm in doubly. Red Cloud sounds good, but Maxamar (one of my absolute favorite cigar stores)and Club Havana sounds even better!

Let me know dates/times and I'll be there!!!

OK ... here's a thought ... perhaps a little off your normal south coast beat, but if you want to be part of the best herf you're gonna find anytime soon, consider coming to the SF Bay area on the 19th ... this is going to be one hell of a great event ... we had 70+ guys at the last one and there's room for 100 ... we had prizes for every single guy, some of them were FABULOUS like humidors, boxes of cigars, golf clubs, etc ... food, beer, big-screen TV and several dozen cigar smokin' guys to sit around and shoot the breeze with while watching football, eating, drinking and smoking ...
There were guys from all over Northern Cal and one who lives in New York but was here on business joined us too ... think about it ... REALLY ... think about it ... drive or fly up, stay overnight, drive or fly back ... I guarantee it'll be worth it and you'll thank me for inviting you

Here's the scoop:

SF/East Bay Football HERF 2

The restaurant is 3 blocks from Bart for those that do not want to drive. email any and all questions/suggestions to

SteveS,I'd love to make this herf and I've already checked into it,FWIW I checked into making the last one as well and it was the same thing.

There are just no reasonable flights early enough out of Orange County on Sunday morning to make the kickoff and fly back on Monday morning and there are no flights out of Oakland late enough on Sunday to fly up Saturday evening.Hell Air fare is almost nothing, looks like $72 round trip, fly up sat late afternoon and fly back monday early morning about 9ish.I just can't justify the two nights hotel + taxi back and forth to the airport and stuff for a one day herf.

Now if one of the other So Cal guys wanted to go as well and split the room and sh*t we might be talkin but we only have till Sat morning to book the flight resorvations/2weeks in advance.Or if one of the guys near the Oakland airport would be so kind as to put me up on the couch for Sat-Sunday evenings I'd say I'm there!

Hell I've stayed at Rookies place two years in a row now, when JCrimmins,MrMean,Rookie and myself drove down from Chicago to meet up with USAHog for the Springfield Ill/LOL Herf and Rookies still alive...LOL

20yrs ago,oh hell 10 years ago I would have drove the seven hrs up,partied all day and drove back that night...LOL

Don't worry though I will make it up there for one of these things.I'm a Herfin fool damnit! The only other guy on this board that I know of that has more Herf mileage than myself would be our old buddy Rob Ray at least as far as I know.Well there is USAHog but Saudi Arabia on Uncle Sams dime don't count...LOL
