Question about the Perdoma Fresh Rolled?

I am becoming a fan of this cigar, they say it's different because it is fresh rolled.

Has anyone aged these in the Humi and if so, do you think they are better after being aged, or, best smoked when you get them?

depending if you got yours from a Perdomo Rolling event or just through Cbid. Yes there is a difference. the ones at rolling events have more aged tobacco in them(this comes straight from Nick Perdomo),just incase Slim needs to add his $.02.The "Fresh Rolled wheels that Cbid has are "seconds" but not actually labeled as such. Just bundles that were not labeled in the regular line.

I have had both. still have some from rolling events in my humi that have been in there over 18 mo's. they are definately much better now. a decent smoke now.

As for the wheels... i still don't think much of them. wasn't impressed, so i am laying them down for at least another 6 mo's. they've been in there since summer. i found them to be a bit harsh and one dimensional in flavor, especially lacking that great "nuttiness" i find in a lot of the nicaraguans. i am a big fan of nicaraguans, especially the padron's.

I really like the Torpedos. I have 2 wheels resting and another in the everyday humi's. Hell for about a $1/stick how can you go wrong?

And I am sure they will beat Rickamaven's "Dead Frogs Breath" or whatever they are that make his sweaters smell so bad. Rick, take the sweaters out of the box before you use it for storage!!!...69

I've got a FRW burning right now and it's not a half-bad smoke, IMO ... Perdomo is a good line of cigars, these included ...

about that sweater thought of Fubar's ... which is better (or worse) ... Rick's sweaters that smell like unburned cigars or the one I've got on that no doubt smells strongly of the FRW that I've got burning ? ... guess it's all in the nose of the beholder ... oh, wait ... that was stored Lone Frogs or a burning FRW ... never mind.

A buddy of mine ordered these from CI, and he passed a few on to me. I think he may have gotten a bad batch becacase the ones I tried were so wet they were impossible to draw. I split one open and it was actually damp inside, and not just a little. He had the same problem with the ones he triend, and sent the remainder of the package back to CI and didn't reorder them. CI however, has excellent Customer Service and took good care of him, which made him quite happy.

I have two bundles, starting to get very decent after about six months, another six and they should be an excellent bargain.
