Anybody else get one of those little CAO humidors?

I have been trying to get mine ready for use and right now I've just left it open for use as potpourri in the living room. Are all of them that aromatic or am I just lucky?

The maker has posted on other sites that he chose this particular spanish cedar for it's unique aroma. I beleive he said it is a special curing process used by some company here in the states.

and I agree.......the smell is fantastic!

All of the spanish cedar I have used is initially very aromatic. My garage smells great! After a few months with cigars in the humidor, the smell evens out with no detriment to the cigars. I am smoking mostly Nics these days and many of them have a bit of a cedar taste. I read something about certain leaves being cured in cedar barrels too. The Cupido Criollos taste very cedary when fresh.
