I agree that those are two great guys to trade with ... gotta add a few names to your list, though ...

Like the names of every guy I've made a trade with in the time I've been on the board ... but you know what? ... if I try to name 'em all, I'm gonna accidentally leave someone out ... there's too many of them ... tell you what I think ... everyone here is a good trader ... and I'm sticking with that opinion until someone proves me wrong ... which, judging from my experience to date, is gonna be never ... I'd make a trade with any guy on this board and be confident of the outcome.

SteveS --- never say never.

In the many years that I have been on this board, in the early days, I was involved in many trades ... and I have had several bad experiences with trades here that were never made right.

... it's just reality.

I'm sure you're right, Slim ..you've been in this forum longer than I and have participated in more trades ... . it COULD happen ... but until I'm proved wrong, here's my outlook ...

In the first trade I did with anyone here, as I was packing up my end of the trade, MrsS asked me "what if the other guy doesn't send his? I mean, after all, you don't really know him" ... I told her that I'd been "lurking" and participating on the board for a long enough time that in many respects, I DID "know" him and a lot of the other people here too ... I'd be more than a little bit surprised if that happened, but that even if it did, the $$ amount was neglible and we'd not be hurt ... unlike the "real" money in two business deals gone south that we'd been involved in ... compared to those experiences, the impact of a loss limited to two figures isn't all that threatening ...

I've only had good success with those I've traded with, though some were better than others, overall, all the trades I've done on this forum has been successful.
I believe any bad experiences should be reported to avoid future events....I haven't seen many though.
This forum has some of the best personalities, and I'm proud to be a part of it...I've learned much and hopefully, I was able to contribute.
Just my two cents worth.
