I wondered what kind of humidor it would make. Turned out okay. Will hold 100 to 150.

thats reaaly nice where did you find spanish cedar to line the box with. how did you attach the cedar. glue?

Spanish cedar at lumberforsale.com or any woodworker's store. If you miter the corners you can slide the cedar in nice and snug. It's easier to replace if you have to some day. I did have to use some wood glue and small brass screws on the lid.

Nice handy work on the old box!

What's that in the center of the top tray? And also, I'm not that good at recognizing cigar bands right off...what are those black and yellow ones?

That's a Diamond Crown Humidifier. The banded muduros are Indian Tabac Teepees.
