I recieved a 5-pack of these today. I tried one and was very surprised! Its one of those ones you should try. I had to pull the band off this one! smooth all the way down! Anybody else tried these? If so,what did you think? I paid $7 for this 5-pack!

The description:

La Perla Habana is a beautiful line of cigars rolled in the Dominican Republic. The reviews have been outstanding, including a '91' rating from Cigar Aficionado's Insider and a 4.3 from SMOKE magazine. Handmade from long-filler leaves from the Dominican Republic, a Besuki binder, and Connecticut wrapper. This cigar offers a rich, medium-bodied taste with a complex and somewhat spicy flavor

If you paid seven bucks for a five pack you got one heck of a deal. I got a few of those La Perla's in a sampler I ordered a while back and was extremely happy with them.

Enjoy!

La Perlas are some great cigars. I prefer the maduros, but that's just me, they're all good. Right now they appear to flying under the radar of most bidders. 2 weeks ago I got a 25/box of the toro maduros for $23. They sell for $100 and more at the cheapest internet sites. I hate to tout them like this and draw attention to them. If you like them also try the Estavan Cruz line; another great cigar flying low at the moment. This may be a nice side effect of all chatter about Bucaneros. Some people might forget that chances are that last year's great cigar is probably still a great cigar.
