So, I was browsing a large internet auction site, and ran across something interesting.

Someone has some lots of what he says are Clinton era presidential cigars... All banded with the presidential seal, as are the small humidors they come in.

Out of curiosity, anyone know who would have made these cigars? Sort of an interesting thing to find, if they are in fact genuine.

Pacific Cigar Company. Tobacco comes from Cagayan Valley in the Philippines.

- and no - they're not very good smokes ... I'd much rather have a Sportsman's Reserve any day ...

- I'd even prefer a Backwoods stick over one of these - the few that I have are for 'entertainment' purposes only ... definately not for smoking.

I read a write up on those...

A brand that desires full attention. A long cigar with bloom already on it. Starts out mild but becomes bolder and wilder with time. Full blown this has a subtle hint of tuna with a liberal overtone of nausea to consume anyone that lingers with this for any length of time. An impeaching cigar that is deserving of it's 1 out of 5 stars.

Hmm. Perhaps Clinton selected them for their specific length and girth, then. Who knows.

Santyth

do they come four to a pkg in a small round sealed can with a "seal of the president of etc" on a white wrapper?

if they do they are made in the philippines with no manufacturer listed. they are just another cigar in a fancy package.
