Man ... what a smoke!!! I smoked my first one this morning, having been gifted a couple over a year ago, and honestly forgot I even had them.

This has to be the best Cuban cigars that I have smoked to this day ... and I just can't see it getting any better than this! If you ever get to try this absolutely wonderful Cuban Maduro, and it doesn't turn you over it's knee and give you a good spanking ... then you might as well give up Cuban cigars.

Medium bodied, good draw and packed with a tingling array of flavors that reminded me of a good and satisfying steak dinner.

The aroma is wonderful, and the taste that will linger on your palate will leave your lips smacking. I just can't get over what a pleasure it was to smoke this cigar ...

LOL ... maybe it'd be interesting to establish a pool in which a wager is placed on who's gonna be the first with an offer to buy you that steak dinner ...

jk, Slim ...

xibbumbero --- it's the real deal, I assure you! And when you smoke the real thing ... there is no question or doubt in your mind. Also, the person who gifted them to me smokes ISOM's exclusively ... and has so for a good many years.

I'm not kidding ... I haven't been floored this much by a Cuban cigar in quite some time. I hate to even say this (donning flame-proof protection), but I have found something that will beat a Monte #2 into submission, hands down (albeit, it is a Maduro).

Next to finding money in a jacket pocket or a pair of pants that I haven't worn in a long time the next best thing is finding that "jewel" in the humi that's been there waiting for you!

I'm jealous! Better than a #2? C'mon...really?

... I'm not kidding. Most likely because it of the Maduro wrapper, and I REALLY like Maduros ... ;^)

And speaking of the wrapper, it didn't look all that dark at first (I mean, it was dark next to a natural, but it didn't have that 'fake-painted' look to it), and it had an uneven darkness, sort of like shading. It looked like it was an antique, or something ... it had depth to the color.

This sucker was good even after I had to relight it a third time, due to things that kept coming up that had to be taken care of ... and I smoked it to the nub.

... I couldn't believe it.

eleltea --- ***NOW*** you can complain about the $20 ($18.72 to be exact) at the single stick price.

You can also get them at the same online source (a very reputable, but expensive site), for $444.60 for a box of 25 ...
