Wow what a game. I'm glad I stayed in Friday night to watch that game. I admit I had doubts that The Ohio State University would be able to keep up with the 'Canes but they proved me and many others wrong. They played a great game and what's even more impressive is the fact that they scored 31 points against Miami, that is more than OSU has averaged per game all year AND they did it with Clarrett rushing for only (I think) 47 yards. The OSU Defense was superb their kicker, Nugget, what a leg Miami didn't return one kickoff. Krenzel is the man in Columbus. Way to go Buckeyes!

That WAS one of the BEST games I've ever seen!!! Now, for an encore, I'd like to see OSU and USC mix it up (while they're both on top of their games).

No pass interference on 4th down means Canes are champs...bad call...those are the breaks.

Please please of the 34 points most came in overtime play which is not quite the same as a regulation game situation and the greater part of the other came easily from turnovers within the Miami 20 yard line or so.I saw one maybe two good drives from Ohio. The Hurricanes defense dominated the OSU offense (look at the stats). The real story here was that Ohio played solid defense,Willis went down, and the five turnovers(Once again two easy touchtowns both I believe around Miami's twenty and ten yard line). Also it is shame that Willis had to go out just as the show was beginning. As a Miami fan I can tell you that when he starts running especially in the third and fourth quarter watch out.And even with all this happening Miami almost won. I give Ohio their due but they did not impress as much as Miami disappointed me.I saw Miami play what appeared to be better teams during the season to be quite honest. But what I feared might happen did.Ohio played their game and Miami waited until it was to late;Willis was down, the turnovers costly end of story. They were playing in the fourth quarter most of the year and this time it cost them.
Once again I will admit Ohio played the better game that night but the better team lost.

qmechanics, Miami did not play a good game at all.
But you have overlooked the reason why. The Buckeyes
took the game tooooo... Miami. They dictated the way
Miami's offense was run. Take the run away. Force Dorsey to throw. The interceptions were forced by pressure on Dorsey and he cracked. And the fumbles
were forced errors not just mistakes by Miami.

It is all about the team that WINS the game not rating which team is better. They don't make National Runner-Up rings... do they?

The Buckeyes beat them, and not just because of "the intefernce call". they whipped them with old fashioned smash mouth football!

Now, I firmly believe USC could and would have beaten either one of them!!!!

It doesn't matter how the Buckeyes got their points the fact of the matter is they scored 34 points. Scoring some of them off turnovers doesn't speak to highly of the "great" Miami offense now does it? OSU's D took it to the house, they dominated Miami's offense and Dorsey isn't as great as everyone makes him out to be, he's a "good" QB not a "great" QB, that showed last Friday night. Willis McGahee is a great running back but the Buckeye defense had his number.
