Cigar International Rare Corojo Toro:

Have any of you tried this smoke? Well I just did.
I normally wouldn't have bought this stogie, but it came in whats called an "All Star Sampler". That sampler has 8 stogies, all highly rated. I wondered about the CI cigar being included.
This cigar is very good! Smooth, easy draw, and has great flavor! I highly recommend them.
It held a nice long ash, as you can see!
I looked for a 5-pack, didnt see any. Looked on the CI website. They have,Toro BDL OF 20 6.0 x 50 $34.50, and other sizes, pictured is the Toro.
These would be twice as much, if they were a "name brand".

Yo,CigarBid crew! Can you throw a few 5-packs on auction since I gave you a good word! Please? It will pay off in the long run!

pgatour00, I looked on the "search" for those, & didnt see them at this time. Do they sell them on CBid or on CI? Or could the spelling be incorrect? That happens sometimes. If they arent on CBid or CI you can e-mail me at Magnafide(at)AOL(Dot)Bla,Bla,bla(com). I'll check them out.

PS: I was looking them up incorrectly. Search for: "Rare Corojo Toro", drop the CI. Thats why I didnt find them at first.

Mag,

Yeah, I got a box from somewhere else, but I bought 5 packs at least twice on C-Bid and the price was right...about $7-$11 a 5. They are made by Victor Sinclair. They do Bohemian Red for Coroja and then there is a white label - haven't tried it yet.

The red north beach is a great looking cigar too!
It's got the pigtail end etc. Send me your snailer and I will pop a couple out for you...I am at the post office daily.

I tried one.It was ok .But I have found few in barring that name that compare to the Rare Corojo that Punch produces;Full of flavor even solid ash.It is not that expensive either if you know where to get them. And this is from a guy that doesn't particularly care for the Punch line.Pardon the pun;-)

Mag,
Keep a loow-out on CBID for the Rare Corojo. I have seen 5-packs on the site from time to time.

QMECHANICS:

The Punch Rare Corojo while good, ain't got single hair of corojo seed tobaccy in it. Sumatra wrapper and blah blah blah binder/filler.

Try some authentic corojo 'gars like those mentioned or the Camacho Corojo. All have a little extra zing that you should notice compared to the Punch one.
