OK, I know most of you don't particularly like Don Juans, but last night I smoked a Criollo '98 and was quit impressed. It actually had a little attitude (notes of pepper)....not as subtle as the line normally is. I got a box of toros for $25.00 and they are WELL worth the $1 / stick price. Performed well also: slow even burn, thick ash, fairly well constructed. I smoked a Perdomo Reserve #3 Maduro afterwards that was better, but it also cost quit a bit more.

Indian Tabac Limited Reserve Buffalo = damn fine smoke! 10 pack for $11.00......again, well worth the $1.10 / stick. Fiesty little ****, so eat before you smoke one.

I couple of different Havana 2000 wrappers and the best tasting for me was the Don Juan Brand.

If you try a more expensive brand and the cheaper one is just as good why not go with the cheaper one? Most of the flavor is in the wrapper anyway.
