I just won a box of Ras Tafari's and a box of Fittipaldi Cameroon Corona. Anybody tried these? I paid less than $1 a cigar so if they aren't any good I can give them to moochers. What do you think of them?

You're going to have a lot of cigars to give away.

Congratulations Pass. Remember that taste in cigars,(as well as wine, food, women and cars) are differant for everyone. the trick is to find what YOU like. IMHO the Ras Tafari isnt a bad smoke and worth every bit the price you paid. (Never tried the Fittapaldi.)

Spiny's right ... just like beauty being in the eye of the beholder, taste in cigars will vary widely from one person to another ... you should continue to experiment ... but be sure to remember what you like AND what you don't ... then, don't buy more of those you don't like ...

Steve and Spiney right, biggest part of fun is being open to try different cigars, some makes you want to throw up, but, others are like finding a jewel in the rough. Don't have to be cigar snob, where only super premuims suit your palate.

by no means am I a fan of milder type smokes but the Fittapaldi Cammy is not a bad cigar. if CAO cammy is an 9 on a 10 scale in taste, I'd give this is a 6 to put it in perspective. Try them if you have not done so. My customers love the Fittapaldi line. And they are very inexpensive. Robusto size is better smoke though

268, Congratulations on your first win. Let me be first to say, there will be many more to follow! CBid is a great site. On those two, seems you started with more robust cigars than most people do. Remember to eat first before those Ras Tafari's..lol

Congrats on your first win. I have been bidding (and winning) for 3 years. Great, great site. You might want to bid 5-packs on unknown cigars (thereby giving you many more to try for the $). Then go back after box lots of ones you like. Remember, cigars that may hit you as "so-so" fresh from the box may hit you differently after you let them sleep 6 months to a year in your humidor.

Congrats, and I agree with Wany on the Fitapaldi's as they are a damn nice smoke (not great, but good)!!! Don't know about the others but the guys who expressed positive ops on them are quite knowledgeable!

Just got the Ras Tafari's in... I'm looking for the others I won to hopefully come tomorrow. I tried on Ras and I must say after some of the comments I heard I wasn't expecting much, so I guess I was a in some small way pleasantly surprised. they seem a little dry, but a if I put them in time-out for a while, they might be a little better. It wasn't such a bad smoke though. Especially for less than $1 a piece. If nothing else they will keep me from going through my more expensive ones so fast. I definitely wouldn't call them a dog rocket.
