Dodge introduced its Tomahawk V-10, 8.3-liter (505 cubic inch) concept motorcycle at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit on January 6, 2003. The superbike features independent four-wheel suspension, and its engine, borrowed from the Viper sports car, can propel the Tomahawk at speeds of nearly 400 mph, according to Dodge.

???????.....but can it turn decent? But in a world of factory 150hp, 380pound, 200mph, $10,000 motorcycles, I guess anything is possible.

Ducatti -

I agree ... dual tires? Likely there for stability & looks moreso than functionality - keep it from falling over on you and breaking your leg. Geesh - I'd feel so insignificant next to it at a stop light on my bike ... LOL-

JustForFun - try & imagine sitting up (just once) and that ass rocket .... you'd go from 300 - 60 in about 1 mile of asphalt ... hell ... I can't even sit up (safely) at 130 ...

- just imagine what a beetle would feel like on impact with your neck ... ouch!

Okay. There's something I wouldn't even try to catch. Might even be faster than Motorola.

Aren't some of the crotch/ass rockets already faster than motorola? Seriously, ball-busting aside, up here in CT the Staties are NOT even allowed to engage in pursuit of 'certain' bikes ... and if the bike tops 135 (most crotch rockets and virtually all Hogs WON'T) or is alreay at 130+ they're supposed to disengage and do nothing but radio it in. They know that they can't catch the bike (safely) and that statistically, if they just leave them alone - nobody gets hurt (i.e., the bike rider, the cop in pursuit, or passengers in the vehicle that gets hit by the trooper.

Is that true (or policy) most all over or just up here?

I'll give up my SUV for one of those! That way I wouldn't be supporting terrorism anymore!

Way to go Detroit!

I think most crotch rockets (600cc and above) do pass 130mph.
