Here it is...there is a weird reflection on it in the pic.

It's great! I just am not sure which model it is (referring to my post elsewhere)...

Nice cutter, looks like the one I have. Bought it about 2 yrs. ago. Cut many a fine cigar with it. It just feels weird that it doesn't spring back open to clean tobacco. Just takes getting used to. I called an 800 # and spoke to people there and told them I didn't get a leather case, so they sent me one free. Also they guarantee it to stay sharp and if it does need resharpening, you can send it back they will sharpen at n/c.

Hope you put it to good use!!

I have the blue cutter like that. Love it. I just received one of their knifes and a multi-tool. I got it from a group buy from a different board. Very nice. If you go on their website and fill out the warranty info. they will send you a pouch for it. These guys have great quality and customer service.

This is the old style Xi. Believe it or not, Xikar will replace this cutter (when it needs resharpening) with a brand new "new style" Xi. The new style has allen screws instead of the philips screws so you can actually tighten the body resulting in a cleaner cut. They have already replaced mine. Just go to their website and use the contact feature. What a customer service these guys have.

Great info Smoker...

I have this same one w/ philips screws. Had it for a few years. I guess it could use a sharpening. I'll check out the contact feature on the site. Do they ask you about replacing it or just do it?
Couldn't hurt to get a new cutter!!

Low, I asked them in my initial contact if it was trrue that they replaced the old style. They said yes. I also mentioned that they had the best cutter on the market and the sent my a Xikar pen. Don't forget to register your cutter, right on their website. They send you a free leather case for registering.

Just so happens that I sent an email to them on 1/17 and did state that I heard that they will replace it. Didn't "brown nose" that much and tell them it's the best cutter... maybe I should have.
Waiting for reply from them.
