The NFC's whipping boys . When asked how it feels to play them one Eagle said: "It's like having 3 byes this year." Eagles whupped them 44-13 and 27-3 in 2002. Another Eagle remarked " After I play the cowshi.. er cowboys I like to sit up an have a cigarette, it's as good as having sex with a cheap hooker ". And lastly the difference between 3rd and 25th place is called "PRIDE" something the dullass cowboys and gerry jones no nothing about. JonR

I am not a Cowboys fan but before I ran my pie hole over the net I would look up how to spell Jerry Jones correctly.

I am not a Cowboys fan. But I must admit, with Bill Parcells on the case, things are gonna look a little different next year.

By the way, it's "You're" illiterate.
As in "you are"
Either that or you ended your sentence too soon. Perhaps you were going to say "...you really fooled everyone into thinking your illiterate cousin actually wrote 'War and Peace'."
Or something of that ilk.

Wow...I hate the Cowboys as much as the next guy..but.
Parcells will make them a winner, for 2 years, then he will do as he always does..quit. After he has ravaged the team salary cap-wise. Anyone can build a short-term winner....

Pie hole. BWAAAAAAHAAAAAHAAAAAHAAAAA.

I haven't much followed football since Elway retired, but when I was a Broncs fan I was a fan in fair weather or foul, and there were some rough times, especially those first two embarrassing Super Bowls. The Cowboys have had some great years and will have some more. Loyalty is right up there with duty, honor, country, boys.

RAMBLINGS OF GEORGE CARLIN
OK... so if the Jacksonville Jaguars are known as the "Jags"
and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are known as the "Bucs",
what does that make the Tennessee Titans???

LoL

JonR, as Jerry Jones shines his 3 Superbowl Trophies
the Eagles shine their...... shoes??

It is better to have won in the past than to never
have one at all.

America's Team:
An opportunistic millionaire owner who is devoid of morals and ethics.
A team full of gifted athletes who abuse drugs and women, not to mention their affiliation with gangsters.
And now a guy who will manage them who left a previous team because of (get this..) an owner who got too involved with how he ran the team!
Boy, those Benjamins are persuasive.

Truth is, Parcells is inheriting a team with a great defense already.
His presence brings instant respectability which will allow Jones to buy skilled (albeit aging) free agents to booster the offense in a short timeframe.
I hate to admit it, but the Cowboys will be in the playoffs by the 2004 season.
Guaranteed.

Tailgater, I posted on a thread before the season started above how your precious Patriots would not make a return to the Superbowl. At least Jones does not make "one hit wonders".

I only wish I saw this thead earlier. I missed all the fun.

Seems that the Patriots "one hit" is a hell of a lot more than your "zero hits" recently.
There is NO WAY that a cowboys fan can possibly rip the Patriots. From the team, to the stadium, to the local fans in the dallas area, it's a complete JOKE.
Some day I'll tell you the story of my road trip to dallas to watch my Patriots. Don't worry, I'll speak slowly and use little words for y'all...
