For some reason Shania doesn't have enough confidence in herself to sing her song during halftime, gotta love lip syncing...

No Doubt and Sting were awesome though!! Gotta love the old Police songs!!!!

You have got to joking. That was the worst half-time show in years. Gwen might be great to look at but could not hold a note in a five gallon bucket. I agree about Sting and the old Police songs that was good. Can't believe ST is looking that great after a popping out a little one.

Yeah she looks great but she couldn't sing her own song!!

At least Gwen didn't need to lip sync!! The combo on Message in a Bottle was great for being live, they coulda recorded it earlier like ST, but what good is that???

Maybe it's the venue. Gotta be noisy as hell. All those people going to the can and concessions, superfluous pyrotechnics etc. Probably hard to hear yourself. Gwen and Sting were a bit off tune. They did okay though. I know if Gwen was grinding right next to me, I would be hard pressed to say anything sensible much less sing. Maybe the time would be better spent honoring some old football greats. Trot out some octogenerians in old jerseys and give 'em a diamond encrusted NFL ring or something. Have a couple marching band cut heads and get back to the game.

Yeah, halftime show was a wash but I rushed back to watch the commercials whenever I could. The best one IMHO was the football game of the horses with the "referree" looking at instant replay. That was tops! Congrats to the winners and thanks Steve for doing such a great job throughout the season and post season.

Agree with you on Horses Instant Replay commercial being the best one! No comment on Half time show!

At least it beat the trashy halftime of BCS!

I like the Ozzy commercial the best. Didn't watch the halftime show. There was a Saturday Night Live skit going on on a different channel that was funny. They lost a superbowl ring and one of the actors (Chris Katan maybe) dressed up like Gollum from LOTR and had taken it. Pretty funny.

My gripe was the after bowl stuff. They had Bon Jovi playing songs. Who cares at that point the game was over. Just end the broadcast and get to the episode of Alias. Jennifer Garner is HOT!

Bud Clydsdales and zebra get my #1 vote for commercials.

Shania Twain looks great but really does a horrible job pretending to sing her own songs. It's a real Milli Vanilli slap to her fans to go up in front of hundreds of millions of fans and viewers and fake her own music.

Gwen Stefani looks great. She gutted out her own song despite her shaky voice. I give her and Sting the benefit of the doubt considering the conditions.

I hate lip synching stars pretending to do a live performance. If you and your million dollar ego can't do it live...don't do it at all.

I won :)======~

Did see the commercials though and Ozzy gets my vote for the biggest laugh!

So Rayder...it's needless to say you don't appreciate the computer generated and perfected voice of Britney Spears?

I liked the Jordan commercial and the one with the horses and zebra. "That ref's a jack-ass". Classic.

Yes, definitely the clown as a very close second to the instant replay. I forgot about that one, but went to Budweisers web site and saw them all again! The clown skit was for Bud Light titled: Parade--ROTFLMAOTMSH!

The clown was good! "Can I get some of those peanuts?" "I don't think so!" My favorite was the "Terry Tate, Office Linebacker" Slam! Crash! That was a LONG DISTANCE call DOG!
