These are the best cigars I've had and I've tried them all...why doesn't Drew Estates get any respect?

Acids are pretty good sometimes. Do you really like them better than all PAM, Montecristo #2 ISOM, and FFOX?

Myself, I enjoy "regular" cigars. I also enjoy Acids & Naturals. I give them respect!

Although, I'm not a big fan of Lars Tetens. I believe Drew Estates are much better and more affordable! Any oppinions on Lars?...octo

I enjoy the Acid's also, not just all the time. I prefer the "regular" cigars but every now and then I need an "Aromatic" fix.

The Acid 1 is a favorite of mine. It's the only non-aromatic Acid. It is cured with Sangria. You should try this one if you haven't. I do like this better than FFOX, which I think are one of the most overrated cigars in existence.

When I started getting into Cigar smoking on a regular basis I was big into the Acids. My personal favorite was the Earthiness (which is still a fav). Now as I smoke more cigars I smoke less Acids.
They are still a nice change of pace, but they really can't be compared to some of the finer non-flavored cigars out there.
I think that the change of heart came the first time I had a CAO Gol! that nearly snapped my neck. Now smoking an Acid seems like the equivalent of ordering a Cosmopolitan at a biker bar. (With the exception of the Earthiness which is a heavy cigar flavor and still holds place in my rotation)

Any company that sneaks into nursing homes and cuts the hair of grandmas will never get my respect.

jreddoch: 8 on the way at 8:00AM this morning! + the xtra.

Acid 1 is the most enjoyable smoke I have ever tried.
Burns perfect, great ash, taste so good it makes your mouth water, and never had someone complain about the smell...and the smoke to you will taste like tobacco not a flower garden.

I thought they had a cool name, and tryed some. The first were fairly good, but the consistancy is not there. Check out the ash. It is not that great white color of high Mg content. Drew uses tobacco from all over the world, and I am sure that there is quality concerns. I smoke them from time to time, but I would rather smoke a Cohiba or Padron before an Acid. But they are a great break.
As far as Naturals, I have not been pleased. They are wrapped pretty tight with some hard draws and harsh tastes. I bought a 5 pack of the Dirt and could not even finish smoking them because the draw was so tight. Tried the others and found them wanting.
I love the concept, but the cigars are not that great.

I really like the Acids (i.e. blondie) and I think the Naturals are my favorite cigars (especially dirt). But then again I haven't tried Opus, Pams, FFOX and the such.

Also, I don't get what you said Mr Mean. What am I missing?
