Now this is what I'd like to see as a new stamp. Props to Tarheel. JJ

Wow, what an inspiring stamp.
The United States of America: Land of Death and Destruction, Bombs and Missiles.
Is that your best vision of our country? I'd have hoped we aspire to greater things. Guess not, in your eyes.

I'm telling you guys, we just need stamps with the postage rate on them! And why does the USPS need to advertise? Everyone knows about the Post Office! If they cut out all extraneous expenditiures they could charge half of what the private carriers do. And why do we need a General running the USPS?

jazzman,
I think "Miscellaneous" actually is shorthand for "Miscellaneous Acts of Hostility." Ha ha.
It's all in good spirits, at least from me. I haven't a clue who jjohnson is, by the way.

I do believe this to be a more appropriate, inspiring stamp.
Another suggestion would be a pic of the temporary memorial set up in battery park. To me, that is very moving.

Interesting. I like the design. Its a beauty!
But I dont think as a memorial its as good as the other stamp. "Payback is a bitch" isnt appropriate for words for a memorial. Can you see a minister saying that in a funeral service? I cant.
I think as an inspirational shirt for what is to come it is Great! If any of you are interested where this design comes from, here is the site address. You can buy t-shirts or sweatshirts of this image.

Nobody said it was a memorial stamp. The reason I assumed it was, is because your title was OBVIOUSLY a take off of my stamp post. So dont be so defencive. If you didnt want that type of assumption you shoulda gave it a different title. Besides that it isnt even a stamp design anyway.

All politics aside, I doubt you would be able to see much of this image once it's been scaled down to 3/4 X 3/4 inch size.
