I placed a bid earlier this morning and it is already up up to my auto bid max. Is it possible for me to go in and raise my auto bid now, or do I need to wait until someone beats me and then start over. I ask because I am leaving to go out of town tomorrow morning until the lot closes and don't know if I will be able to check in on it while I am gone.

You can bid against yourself and raise your max bid I believe. Otherwise you'll have to wait until you're outbid.

You could at one time bid over your max and the autobid would adjust. I swear I did this Soon after finding Cbid. After some of the site updates, it doesn't work anymore. You will be told you already have a winning bid. Now you have to wait until you are outbid to place a new one. I wonder what would happen if you increased your quantity and placed a higher bid?

xrundog is correct, you must wait until you have been bumped. In the old days like up until about a yr and a 1/2 ago or so you could actually bid and you had fifteen minutes to pull it or edit it.Didn't take long to figure out you could bid up to see someones max and then back off to just under it.Not me of course, yeah right...LOL

if you have bid your maximum, you should stop and wait for them to come around again.
