I was gifted an ISOM Partagas last summer. It is about 7" with approx. 40-44 ring. The band says Partagas Habana and cifuentes y cia or something. Any idea what this gift will smoke like? Most of my smoking experience has been Dominican products.

Partagas, Bolivar, and Vegas Robaina are arguably the most full-bodied ISOMs out there. Enjoy the ride!

it sounds like a Lusitania. Great smoke. One of the more mild ones

Milder than others but a very different flavor profile that will last you a good 1 1/2 hours! Enjoy

Probably not the Lusitania. They are 7-5/8 x 49. That is a GREAT smoke... Got one "sleeping" in my humi. Bought in Bermuda 8/02. A little milder than the rest but smoooooth.
It could be a Partagas De Partagas No.1 - Lonsdale which is approx. 6-3/4 x 43. Haven't had that one yet. But sure it is the quality of the rest.
Enjoy and let us know.

I just finished one. All i can say is "damn "!!! One hell of a smoke. My co-woker and i just got home from happy hour with a couple of these. It is at least an hour smoke that is medium to full bodied. I loved every puff. I'm so excited because he gifted me 2 more. If you havent smoked one, you are in for a surprise . Enjoy!!!

I cannot for the life of me determine if we are talking about the same cigar.
I agree with X....This is a rocket a full flavored smoke. Partagas is considered one of the "stongest" Havana's.
I would not consider this to be a mild smoke.
Just my 2 cents.
Regards,
B

mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm... I've tried a couple of the Partagas SDN # EL. Excellent smoke, too bad I can't see my way to buying a box. Smoked a Lusitainia compliments of Mr. Mean last T.G., mild for a Cuban but very pleasant.
