Just wanted to hear any opinions on this cigar. Looked it up on the archives and only have heard positive feedback. If so, why are they always winning bids always so cheap. Also smoke mag 4.2. I guess I'll just have to try. Wonder if any truth that their aged 7 years. Also any comparisons on taste would greatly be appreciated.

I like them. They have the sweet flavor peculiar to many of the Esteli smokes. When you get 'em, let them sit for a few months. They mellow some. I think they have a taste that many don't find appealing.

My absolute favorite milder maduro. I bought 3 boxes of the Vintage line when I recently discovered them at about $2 per stick... and they were all from 1998 :)

Cupido Toro Negros are in my top ten. They are a great smoke at twice the price. Don't hesitate on buying some.

Cupido Toro Negros are complete dogrockets. Spend your hard-earned money on Diesels instead.

Since this cigar was listed as having 7 years of aging already, allowing it to sit for a few months so it will mellow seems unneccesary, as Xrundog suggests. Perhaps he is refering to cupido's that have not been aging for less than 1 year.

Yeah, I mispoke(mistyped). The criollos need to sit awhile. They have a very strong sweet taste initially that mellows over time. The Toro Negro is pretty good right away.
