I went to the "Big Smoke" in Las Vegas this past weekend, and was given great news! Fuente had a display, and Carlos Fuente was there handing out samples. I had the chance to speak with him about the Anejo, and it was very informative. I inquired if the cigar was, as reported by CA, an OpusX with a maduro wrapper? He said that was not exactly accurate. He would not disclose what is was, but did imply that it was a very close blend and it may have some leaf from the DC line also. I also spoke with the Fuente national sales rep about availablity. They are going to make the Anejo a part of the Fuente line, but in limited quanities, like the OpusX. They also come in 4 different sizes, but I can only recall 3; 46, 49, and 54. He also said that most stores that are major Fuente dealers should have received another box a week or so ago. Each dealer was sent a second box, and they attempted to send a size that was different from the first box.
