OK. If you were to meet G.W. Bush in person, and had your humidor's contents with you, what smoke would you offer him? Likewise, which smoke from your current collection would you offer Gore? Remember, the cigars MUST be from YOUR CURRENT Stock! G.W. would get my Cuban Monte #2, while Gore would merit some dog rocket with a "Peterson" label on it. I think I got it a while back in a grab bag from another site. The wrapper looks like phillo dough and it smells like a lucky strike. Also, although I've had it for 4 years, it has only been in my humidor for about 3 weeks. I'm saving it for just such an occassion.

I wouldn't offer any smokes to either. I don't like either of them. I voted for Bush/Cheney today because I can't stand Gore/Lieberman. I'd offer Nader a smoke (his choice), but he'd just refuse it because smoking is bad for your health ;) DAMN IT! Hillary won here in NY! I am, for the first time in my life, ashamed to be a New Yorker at this moment.

Let me say this to all of the fine Republicans of New York, I feel sorry for you all and your great Empire State. Hillary Clinton is your new US Senator! Here is one viable option. There are 49 choices you have that I personally would choose over living in "Hillary's" state. You can always move back when she is gone. You never know, look what happened to Mel Carnahan. 6 years, minimum.

Do think mentioning or offering a cigar to Hilary
Clinton would be in bad taste?

Of course Gore "served" in Vietnam..So he should definitely be President..What a crock..The guy was a journalist who never saw combat, thanks to his daddy's friend Armand Hammer getting him a cushy job...He is worse than Bush...I have no respect for Gore whatsoever...He exploited his "Vietnam Veteran" persona by appearing in TV ads in his uniform when his father was running for re-election...Guy is dangerous to our country...I pray that he doesn't win.

BTW, I'd offer GW (looking in my humidor) an ISOM Saint Luis Rey Regios (a fine cigar), and probably offer Algore a Swisher Sweet (which I'm proud to say is NOT in my humidor thank you)

Hey Jr., You didn't answer my question, and all you did was initiate a minor squable on the WRONG board. In your haste to flog Bush for his lack of heroism, you failed to mention Gore's uncommon valor (was he a war hero in your version of history?) as well as his predicessor the Draft Dodger. So open up your humidor, pick out a smoke for each candidate, and take your left wing remarks to the proper board. BTW, I believe everyone used to refer to Bush senior as a "wimp" until the Gulf War. Only time will tell if your label is correct, but I believe you have been misled...

Ok, sticking to the topic.... I would give both candidates two Rum Runner Buccaneers (sp) each that i have been trying to get rid of ever since i had my first one out of a five pack... Now on the other hand, if happen to meet Mr. Clinton i would have to offer him one of my Cohiba Esplendidos.... I figure he deserves it with everything he got away with....

Wow, tough question....I'd give Bush, (hold your breath here folks), an Iraqi Petit Corona (smells like a scud), and I'd give Mr. Al Gore a Padron 1964 Anniversary Churchill, I've only got 2 but I'd smoke it with him along with a few Floridian senoirs (could they actually SEE the ballot?).......happy days....Brent

"Best President we ever had???"...Youve gotta be kidding!...No one can spout the usual BS about the economy because Alan Greenspan is the one that made it so great, not Clinton...Guy is a traitor, sells secrets to the Chinese..but thanks to his buddy Janet Reno, he wasn't investigated....Definitely the worst..

Bush would get an ISOM Cohiba Esplendido. I would hate to think what would happen if I got close enough to Gore to offer him a cigar. Bush is the kind of guy I'd like to hang around with. Gore is an evil robot.

Seems to me I have kept you entertained HH. Loved your photo spoof of me! Yes, I have talked about my FIRST cigar because in my circle of friends and family, there is only 1 single cigar smoker. We don't talk often and I was really excited and interested in the 'ins and outs' of the whole subject. I was delighted to come across cigardbid.com in my search! I've learned a lot here. How to properly cut and light a cigar, how to store them, which ones y'all call 'dog rockets', a peek into y'all's lives and certainly how to enjoy my cigars! The fact that I have some nice authentic ISOM 'gars chaps some of you (especially since they're the ONLY kind I have - why look further until they're gone?). I like what I got, and probably WON'T make smoking them or others a daily habit. I will not, however pass up the opportunity to smoke these and other fine cigars that I come across in my life and I will NEVER smoke a crappy cigar unlike those of you addicted to the search of the perfect stick - buying box after box only to find that they taste like sh*t. I don't know why your keeping track of how long I've been talking here? But I'm not leaving any time soon, so don't hold your breath! I enjoy the knowledge, expertise, advice, humor, and even the sarcasm that the guys here have to offer. And ya know, I'm glad to see that you have a Gore-buddy to sympathize with. I'm sincerely sorry HH if I've offended you in any way. I certainly can take YOUR ribbing. Ya know, you DON't have to read any thread or post authored by me. Personally, Gore supporters just turn my stomach. No offense. I'm sure I must turn yours too. Have a great week-end guys!

As long as this post is never-ending, I'm going to add my two cents worth. The only gore I like is in a good horror movie. But I love all forms of Bush. I firmly believe that everyone is entitled to their opinions, either right (aka conservative) or wrong (aka liberal). Let's not make it personal.
