Hey Guys

This pic is of my mothers dog "Tucker" in her back yard.

The photo is interesting because of the grass you see!
This grass isnt real. It is what some dome stadiums are going to switch over to!

Its blades are about 6 inches long, there is a mix of small white sand particles, and black larger sand particles blended into the blades. Under the sand it has a mix of small rocks going down in size gradually to larger ones. This is about another foot deep. This gives it good drainage.

It is alot softer to land on than astro turf.

A large machine is used to apply the sand while keeping the blades fluffed so they dont become buried under the sand. It is quite a process.

My mom is the first in her neighborhood to have it. Others have told her they are going for it too! Its really nice. Until you are right on it, it looks real. It feels nice too.

This picture is after its been installed almost a year! She now has both front and backyards done. It looks great!

Thought you sports guys might think its interesting!

James, those things have been taken into consideration already. No stains or smells of any kind. Like I said, this shot is of turf thats been in for a year now. It looks as good as the day it was installed. It also has a ten yr guarantee not to fade at all! Its not cheap stuff either.
