It’s been about year since my first bid on cigarbid.com and been loving the site since. Which got me thinking? I have been the webmaster for an origination called the Mulliganeers the last 3 years and would like to share a little bit about it with everyone on the boards.

For the last 8 years there has been a St. Patrick’s Day Party where a 1,000 people from the families and friends of the select few deserving children gather for an evening of entertainment and some good food. Every year, we strive to make the next event a little better than before. Just last year we raised $250,000 at this event alone surpassing the previous year by approximately $30,000. During the evenings events we run a silent and live auction for everyone to participate in.

This is where I am asking for any of you to help us out. I would like to know if you have any cigars or merchandise that could be donated to our organization for the auction. If a full donation is not possible we would be willing to purchase items at a cost where it could be auctioned off above that price. If anyone chooses to, you can list the donation on your taxes(tax id will be provided) at full retail. Just a little reminder.

We also publish a book, which details all the evenings’ events along with biographies on each of the families we support, that an ad can be placed. I have listed two links if you would like to read more about the organization and information about the ad book costs.

Thank you.

What about Cbid getting involved this way:
For those that bid on a box of cigars, give the option for that bidder to allow Cbid to donate that box to your organization. Cbid wins because they made another "sale" and you win because you get a box that will most likely be under retail and we win because we get the deduction and the satisfaction of helping out. It also keeps our costs down on shipping because instead of Cbid shipping to us, then us to you, Cbid ships directly to you (they would have to ship anyway).

I sent a message to cigarbid through the customer service request and Trish said that she would be forwarding the information on to the owner. I'm waiting to hear back from them as I just sent it early this morning.
