There needs to be a cap in baseball. A minimum and maximum. Just my opinion.

Red sux? Ha, thats funny. I think the phrase "maybe next year" originated in Boston. Geez, 1918!! Thats a loooong time!! I guess the hatred of the Yankees by the Redsox fans is because the Yankees are the "Bride" The Redsox are always the "Bridesmaid"

As far as George, you could only wish that you had an owner like him. He's not afraid to open his wallet and spend to get winners. Many other team owners are in the same position, but choose not to. Even with the new luxury tax, George keeps spending. That extra money goes to the league. Translated: That money goes to your team!! So instead of hating George because he has the balls to spend money, you should thank him. After all, your teams are not refusing his money!!

joemar4, no matter how you rationalize your opinion, the Yankees are like a Fantasy team. There needs to be a cap. A minimum and maximum. Only a handfull of owners can spend like Georgy.

And Joe Torre isnt all that good of a manager. With a team like that, he sould win easily every season!
