Well I was doing routine maintenance on my humidors last night and when I opened the last one.I wish you could have seen my face when all I could see was 4or5 out of a box,of my beautiful Black Santa Rosa Cetro Maduro's covered in this white fuzzy sh_t.I actually screamed, holly sh_t what the F_ is that!!!!!.It being the first time I'd seen something like this.AHaa I hear you laughing, but it's not F_ing funny when it happens to you:-).Actually I'm LMAO now,but I sure hope you guys are right about this bloom VS mold Thing.

Jim, Bloom is a wonderful thing...Unfortunately, I smoke them too often to get some with a nice coating...I don't have the patience

Are you sure it is bloom? Sounds like it may have happened quickly? If it was a gradual thing, then bloom it is but if it happened pretty fast it just might be mold. Hope it is wonderful bloom!

Also, the word fuzzy makes me cringe. Bloom is a crystalization, mold looks fuzzy.

I have a few ISOM partagas for 5 years in my humidor and the do have some plume or bloom but it took years and they are not covered completely. I also have 5 or 6 montecristo tubos that have been around for 3 years or so....I smoked one over the weekend and I have bloom but it was not covered....plume or bllom looks a little like salt on your cigars...crystals....I agree with the guy above me...take a magnifiny glass and look at this stuff...if it is really puffy I am willing to bet its blue mold spores....cigar afficinatto..spelled that wrong...you get the picture...mag online has a great artical with photos...take a look. Also try cigar nexus.com. I recall something they as well.

I had mold once, happened to some Royal Jamaica's, but I was actually kind of happy, as I really didn't like them, so by tossing them it saved me the effort of having to use my cigar time to smoke these. But it happened to cigars that were right under the humidifying device, about three changes after I just charged it. I hope you have tossed those Santas, if not, it will spread to other cigars

If anyone wants it, I think I still have a Lars Tetens Star of Cuba with beautiful green bloom covering the entire thing. It's been sitting in my garage for about 6 months now, but it's covered with that gorgeous green and blue fuzzy bloom ;)

Well they weren't completely covered and I pulled all of the Santa Rosa's and will be keeping a close eye on them and all of the smokes in that Humidor.Man I'd hate to lose all of those smokes 50 or so.I guess I could put on a Herfathon for the next week or so
:-).Thanks for the advice and yes I'll take a closer look at the situation. Thanks again:Jim
