They ran herds of buffalo off cliffs and let their carcasses rot in the sun. The raided each others villages, burned the tepees and raped the women, and scalped each other. They buried their enemies in hot sand, poured honey over them and let the ants take days to kill them. Farther south they killed and ate their enemies, shrunk their heads and impaled them on poles. Other than a few minor idiosycrasies like that, however, they were generally one with nature and lived in harmony with mother earth. This is not to say the European was an improvement. Only to say it is complete reverse bigotry to think one man is different from another.
