try the Outback Steakhouse. I bet my wife I could take a nine inch Montecristo Taj Mahal and smoke it there. Last time there I asked and was told I could smoke cigars there, so next time we go, I shall take full advantage of their kindness. You think it bad in California, and I agree it is bad, but even worse in the People's Republic of Boulder CO. There and Broomfield in the last election a measure passed where even outside at dining establishments one could not smoke. But California is where the anti smoking trends start and moves eastwards, soon these fascist laws will probably spread around the nation, I mean it certainly won't get better, little by little these little commy nannies want to take away more and more. To take the cliche from liberals, it is tobacco McCarthyism. Another reason why I can't understand why any cigar smoker here puts himself in the democratic camp with their anti tobacco extremism. I mean help me, forget the tax issues, forget the touchy feely crap, what makes a cigar smoker, or better yet a cigar aficianado, want to be a democrat? When people in your camp want nothing more than to rid this country of it or in the least tax it to death? You are in the same camp as Rob Reiner who pushed through the anti tobacco measures in California. Though I guess I have the radical anti abortionist in my camp. But the democrats also have the anti capitalist, anti free trade, socialists (or progessives as they call themselves now, I call it progressing down the road towards socialism) environmental whackos, and a whole bunch of other extremist nuts.
