we just watched this dvd, an imax production. the first flight of the space shuttle in 1995. i wish we could have seen it in the imax theater, but it is still overwhelming to see it on tv with surround sound or even without.

thre are over 50 imax programs on dvd and i wish you could see all of them. i use netflix because they are cheaper then the local video stores and they have videos not available anywhere else.

i hope some of you watch at least hail columbia, america's first adventure in the space shuttle.

um Rick?? I seen footage of the Space Shuttle Challenger disaster that Happened in 1986... what other first space shuttle flights in 1995 happened?

no this was not about the diaster, it was the first successful test of the shuttle with two men aboard. as imax dvd's go, i have seen better but the views of the lift off and landing were great.

Um... The first shuttle flight would have been around 1981. I can't think of any NASA milestones that would have happened in 1995.
