I leave Friday morning to take my wife to Chicago for a long weekend. Any thoughts on potential cigar friendly steakhouses? Also, what about "Must See" things in the cold weather. Sunday will be spent tailgating outside Soldiers Field. Friday and Saturday are open for suggestions...Thanks.

Sears Tower is pretty incredible, even for us native Chicagoans..Incredible view from the top!..I believe Morton's is a cigar-friendly steakhouse...Excellent steak!..The greatest steakhouse IMHO in the area is Ruth's Chris Steakhouse..One in downtown and one in Northbrook (North burb of Chicago)..Unknown if its cigar-friendly or not.

One more thing...If youre looking for a great cigar shop, I suggest Cigarking in Skokie (another north burb of Chicago, but worth the very short trip)...Three HUGE walk-in humidors/rooms, a pool table, big screen TV, comfy chairs, beer brought in from the place next door...What more can a guy ask for?!..More like a guy place (no offense esplendidochick) than a place to bring your wife though.

Unless there is a divorce lawyer next door I don't think I can go to Cigarking on this trip. I am already spending sunday at soldiers field. She's a saint, aint she?

Try the "Chop House" for the best 'grilled' prime rib, you will ever have. “Morton’s of Chicago” and “Gene & Georgetti’s” are also good choices. Then head over to the "Macanudo Lounge" for some drinks, relaxation, digestion and a fine smoke. Bundle up though, I was in town last week and it was numbing.

Actually ate at the Chop House. I've been there several times and this was the firs time I had the Grilled Prime Rib. I like mine medium well, so it worked out great. Love the joint. Wany, if you like Gene and Georgettis go to the Erie Cafe. It's run by their son who ran the parent place for 15 years. The menu is the same, the food fantastic, the wine list is better, and the atmosphere is more upscale (it's a newer place). Less crowds and the same food. They also sell smokes at the bar area. I closed the place back in June with some friends. Great! As for the weather, BRRRRRRRR!. Almost got snowed in.
