A Boston area herf has been organized on another BB, and all are invited:

"The New England Herf is going to be Saturday, Feb 1, from noon to 5 pm. It will be at Doc's Sports Bar, in Milford, MA (they have a smoking room with sofa's, tv's, etc). It is off route 495 (if anyone has better directions, please post them - ie, the exit number, street address, etc). As of right now, there are about 20 to 25 people who indicated they were interested in attending. Friends are welcome. I assume that most people won't stay the full 5 hours (but then again, what do I know)."

Email me for additional info. I believe the organizer is trying to get a head count.

Huttman, how is Milford too far from Boston? It's only three exits south of the Pike. 35 -40 minutes tops.

If you guys have 1/10th of the fun next week that we had last week, you're gonna have a damn good time ... there will be a lot of great comraderie and it'll be something you're gonna wonder why you haven't done this before and you're gonna want to do again soon ...

Now, being really selfish and knowing what a good time they are, I want you guys in the greater Boston area to get the bugs ironed out and get it going smoothly over the course of the next few months so that when I come back that way (no later than summer of this year), we can have a first-class herf with all of you in attendance ... deal ??

Hey Danno and all the other bro's going to the herf.

Sorry but bad news here. Four of us North Shore guys can't make it. S**T!

Me and another guy I work with gotta work. One guy's wife is home this weekend (flight attendant). My other friend's Mother passed away the beginning of the week.

Let's try to get another one together in the Boston area soon!

The herf was a tremendous success. Danno got really drunk...dropped his pants...and challenged our pregnant waitress to an arm wrestle. Thankfully, his wife was there to restore order. Jeez..travel to Massachusetts and everyone behaves like a Kennedy.

LOL! eze, you're a sick man!

It seemed like everyone had a great time- I know I did. It was great to meet local herfers, talk cigars, and get lots of free smokes from generous sponsers and other BB folks.

The organizer is talking about doing this on a regular basis, with the next one tentatively scheduled for May.
