Is this new news? I hardly think so, as the French, Germans and Russians are all deeply involved with equipping the Madman and his pawns. Screw them all, wait till they need help (which we do not) and then say "payback is a bitch"

doesn't matter really... when WE Strike there will be little notice nor time for any of those parts to do anything but become SHRAP METAL and Flying Debries!!!!

but once it's over and these country's think there going to go to the UN and Demand Payment for the parts?? F&%^#$ Em!!!!!!

I think by the end of the next two weeks there's going to be new leadership in Iraq... then its time to shut North Korea's A$$ up!!!!!!

Lets not forget the French did sell them a "slightly used" and abused (by an Israeli bomb) nuclear reactor. The French said that the Iraqis told them it was for peaceful purposes. Hmmmm. Good thing the Israelis finished the bombing of the reactor years later.

Yeah, we've never sold arms to Iraq. Good that our hands are clean. Sarcasm, of course...what a joke.

And, no, our interest could NEVER be finanacial here, could they? I mean, hey, with all those oil fields and ports...it's not like our president and vice presidence have ANY ties to the oil industry? Sarcasm, of course...what a joke.

Yeah, yeah...we have pure and angelic motives, anyone who disagrees with us is purely motivated by money and greed...

Hey, that last part sounds like CAPITALISM!!! We can't have that, now, can we?!?!?!

Sanctions... passed down since the end of the Gulf War... No Trades to Iraq... you don't know and I don't either... but if the United States wanted to they could Hold the Nations who traded with Iraq and going against these Sanctions Accounted for...

Thing is it really don't matter... you watch your TV next week and you'll see what good those Parts did them!!!! "I Smell a Can a WhoopAss Openin Up"

Not since the Gulf War (Ass Kicking I) have we sold anything to Iraq, now as Ass Kicking II is about to begin, we will find lots of French, Russian, North Korean, and German arms and parts (not body...Munitions) in their possession, along with some naty Weapons of Mass Destruction.

Isn't this a good thing? I've seen so many posts that France's military is so uterly useless. I would think everyone would be happy that Iraq is wasting money on French fighter planes and helicopters which have six speeds of reverse and one forward in the event that the enemy is behind them.

I can't take credit for it. Someone else wrote that on a different post about French tanks. I forget who it was so I can't give them the proper credit.

I just find it very interesting that EVERY little thing that can be picked on about the French is on this board. Yet nothing is said of Russia, Germany and any other countries not supporting the US.

I also find it interesting that everyone gets upset that the French sold arms to Iraq yet no mention was made about what the US sold them as jdrabinski stated. Not that I think its right for France to do it. Just seems this whole board is anti French. Oh well. As long as we get Saddam I don't care who backs and doesn't back us.

There's a lot of anti French setiment in this country, pretty sad I think. Lot's of one track minds so don't mention those other countries or there might be seizures accross the nation...

The anti-French sentiment may stem from their refusal to honor their NATO commitment.
