I know that some of you like Cusanos. I smoked (mostly)a Corojo Toro today. It had a nice flavor, kind of mild. Sometimes I will keep a cigar in my mouth and just breathe. With this cigar everytime I took a breath, my lungs vapor locked. Some might say that's full bodied. I say it's kind of harsh. This doesn't happen with Peg Legs. I quit after 2/3 and brushed my teeth. My question is: Is the Corojo representative of the Cusano line?

I like the corojo flavor a lot. The Cusano Corojo is a pretty strong cigar. I don't consider it harsh but the smoke from the the lit end of a cigar always seems harsh to me. Don't know about other Cusanos.

Incidentally I find the CI Rare Corojo to be a very similar if not superior smoke and happily it's less expensive.

Won some of these on c-bid the other day, awaiting their arrival to give them a try. I have enjoyed the flavor of others with a corojo wrapper.

I rather enjoy the Cusano Corojos, but I've found them to be quietly subversive. They seem smooth and buttery until the actual strength of the cigar creeps up on you. They aren't what I would term a harsh, cigar, however.

I consider the Cusano Corojo to be one of my favorite cigars, especially considering the moderate price. I would describe it as a pretty straightforward, robust cigar. As was previously mentioned the CI Corojo is very similar, but I think they require some rest for best results, while the Cusanos are ready upon delivery. I admit I haven't been impressed by most of the other Cusanos I've tried, but the Corojo is a regular in the rotation.

A very good spicy and peppery cigar,IMO. BTW,let em rest for a few months and any roughness it might have will go away. X

i have to admit that i have not cared for any of the several cusano lines that ive tried. i get a harsh or bitter taste to them, and this is even the case with smokes that have been sitting for a while. more for yall that like them! lol

I like anything Cusano, the killer is the one that knocks your socks off. Vintage for mild sweet smoke, Corojo in between.
